Rachel opened up RH Training Stables to ensure that riders of all skill and economical status were able to ride and receive proper training. Growing up at the European Pony School with Yves and Christian Sauvignon at Oakridge Training Stables in Santa Rosa, California, Rachel made her foundation through training with some of the best eventing trainers around. Her passion for Dressage played a very important role in her working student positions riding some talented imported upper level European horses. She decided to branch out to Hunter/Jumpers when she bought her then almost 5 year old Holsteiner and trained extensively with Mattias Ekeroth. Rachel took a year off from the A circuit and worked for Sandy Mercer in Los Angles, California. There, Rachel managed multiple Welsh cross ponies in training to prepare them for the show ring and other riders.
Now Rachel enjoys teaching horses and riders of all ages and all skill levels. She works individually with each client to make training packages affordable so that her clients and horses can form the most solid and correct foundation as possible.
